Riverside Athletics is committed to ensuring the safety of our student-athletes at all times. We promise to give the best possible care if an injury arises during any sports-related activity. Our sports medicine team comprises of a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) and an Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Physician through our partnership with Northeast Georgia Physicians' Group (NGPG). NGPG is the 6th largest physician group in Georgia and is affiliated with Northeast Georgia Health Systems (NGHS). As part of NGHS, patients of NGPG have a direct connection to Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s four area hospitals.
Our on-site athletic trainer collaborates with NGPG physicians and Riverside Infirmary staff to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.
